T O P I C R E V I E WSpaceflyerHere a photo of my lunar surface diorama with full scale replicas and lunar rock at the Technik Museum Speyer, Germany. The lunar module (Apollo 11 configuration) as well as the Apollo 17 spacesuits and Lunar Rover are all from Global Effects. The Apollo CSM high above the diorama is in scale 1:3 and shows the orbit of the CMP while his crewmates were on the lunar surface. In the front at the top of the diorama is a lunar rock from Apollo 15 from EVA-2 at station 4 Dune Crater. The panorama on the back (about 100x33 ft) shows the exact spot where Dave Scott and Jim Irwin broke the lunar rock from a boulder.SkyMan1958Looks excellent Gerhard!mode1charlieAmazing display, Gerhard. One day I will get there!Jurg BolliLast year I visited Speyer (and nearby Sinsheim) and I can warmly recommend both museums, the Moon exhibit and the Buran in Speyer were clearly the highlights for me!SpaceflyerApollo 15 lunar rock.Larry McGlynnGerhard, excellent job!
